From what I have seen, agree with difficulty of handicapping Euro soccer profitably (hence my initial skeptical response to docriver's post re mls mathematical-based handicapping)...I have really given away handicapping soccer and, consistent with your comments, have been focussing on strategies for exploiting pricing inefficiencies. Do you know of any interesting angles, ie other than finding h-d-a lines which add up to less than 100%??

Also v. interested in your comments re Gaelic and Oz football...but not sure I understand this comment...

Could you elaborate?? There are many exotic markets for Oz football and a profitable angle would be nice to find.

As a postcript, do you think that the "violence factor" you speak of in relation to Gaelic football also could mean that there is scope to find good lines on rugby codes (where there is also a healthy betting market down here, the lines or which, from my research, are mathematically driven based upon prior scores)??
