Risk-averse betting?

Actually the procedure does not need to be any complicated at all:
Assume that you take all your profits (full hedge), recalculate your bankroll, calculate your optimal bet (kelly, optimal f, or inflexion point) for the last (or the remaining events), and then you know what % of your new bankroll is to be de-hedged. Then proceed to hedge everything except the portion you wish to remain at risk, according to the previous criteria.This process is commonly used in professional stock/commodity speculation. It is known as position sizing.
