markers and central credit

Although I am far from an expert in the matter, I have never heard of anyone getting markers for sports wagering. What I do know is that if you are a slot or VP player who gets a marker, they often pay you in cash. If they pay you in tokens, it is not that though to run through the tokens and get cash later. If you play tables, they always pay you in chips. There is often pressure to pay off your marker instead of keeping the chips. Or you can pay for sports bets with chips.
Everyone uses "Central Credit" for LV credit reporting. If you read "Comp City" by Max Rubin he goes into a little detail concerning this. Getting a line of credit at one casino does not guarantee a line of credit at another casino.
