mls draws???

i have had a quick look at the data for 2000 & 2001 re your comment about draws...i am a bit confused about treatment of draws...

there are only 61 draws from 344 games...but 16 of the games are said to have gone to overtime

being from australia i am not familiar with mls rules...why do some (non-play-off) games which are drawn at full time go to overtime while others do not???

seems important from the point of view of analysing the betting opportunities...given that most books pay out after 90 mins (eg canbet)

so we have either 22% draws (counting overtime games as draws), which i agree is low on any view, or 17% draws (counting them as draws) which is extremely low!!

either way i think you are onto something here...the draws on the games this weekend seem overpriced...so agree less vig on sides...
