sports betting in Canada

I live in BC. Here we have a sports lotto. You cannot bet any one team straight up, but rather must parlay at least three teams. I really don't know too much about it, but the payouts are usually quite poor. From time to time there have been postiive EV bets, but usually only when they make a mistake. Two examples that have happened:
1. The first year they had basketball the over/under numbers were very low for the preseason games. They were numbers based on regular season play. Some people cleaned up.
2. There were some soccer matches in Europe where they had made a mistake about the time zone. You could place bets long after the match had started.
Generally speaking I don't think there are a lot of good bets, however if you should find a mistake you can get down for a lot of money with out moving lines ect. If you can find a good bet it probably won't be a "soft line" per say, but rather an outright mistake on the part of BC lottery. I really don't know much about what they have in Montreal.
