You lose 1,000 if your bet doesn't win, not 18,000. If you were worried about that last game, then why do it in the first place? You know the situation before you make the bet. If you planned on doing it in the first place, fine, then go ahead and do it. I don't recommend it, but to each their own. We can agree to disagree on it.
