What's a Yankee, Trixie, Permed Patent, etc?

I don't play at Bet365 very often because they cut my limits on most bets to about $30. But I still have a little money there, and I was just entering various wagers on my ticket to see what my limits were. On the ticket, they give you the option to make parlay bets as well as straight bets. After the first couple entries, they started offering round robin options. But as I added more, I saw a bunch of weird (to me) options like those in the title.

I assume these are all European terms I'm not familiar with.

With 5 entries on my ticket, I can play straight bets (ok), round robins by 2-5 teams (ok), but also a Super Yankee, a Permed Yankee, a Permed Patent, and a Lucky 31. If I add a couple more entries, I will probably get to play a Super-Duper Permanent Wave.

What are all of these? Is there any chance I would ever want to use one?
