NICE POST RD. IT WAS BOTH THOUGHTFUL AND INSIGHTFUL. HOWEVER I HAVE TO TAKE EXCEPTION TO YOUR COMMENTS IN #1. I CAN'T AGREE WITH NEVER BETTING BELOW OR ABOVE A SETTLED LINE. IF A GAME IS "SETTLED" AT 9.5 AND I LIKE THE DOG AND THE GAME STARTS MOVING THAT WAY, I WILL TAKE 9 OR EVEN 8.5 (IF I CAN CATCH IT). IF THE GAME CLOSES 8 OR 7.5 THEN I STILL HAVE VALUE DESPITE THE FACT THAT I BROKE THE SETTLED LINE RULE. I WILL TAKE MY CHANCES CONSIDERING 1% OF COLLEGE GAMES FALL ON THE NUMBER 9. FURTHERMORE BEING ON THE RIGHT SIDE OF A GAME AND GETTING VALUE ARE MORE IMPORTANT THAN THE SETTLED LINE RULE. JUST MY OPINION
