Dan sends me his plays for the week. Here's what I bet: blah, blah, blah. You believe that he made those plays, or you don't. Often, he sent me two or three mails, throughout the week, as he made his plays. I paid no attention to the dates or numbers, because I wasn't playing the games. I was simply receiving the plays for documentation.

Or, did you think that, on Sunday, he wrote: I took X -3 over Y last Tuesday," when in fact, such a line was not available to him on Tuesday?

Your problem is that you keep looking at the process as if Dan is releasing the game to you for you to wager on, and you're not going to get the number he does. Of course you're going to get the info in timely fashion. I wasn't a client; I wasn't serving that function. I didn't care when I got the recap of his plays. It didn't matter one iota to me, because, if you knew Dan, you wouldn't dream of questioning what he wrote on Sunday, or whenver he mailed it. If he said it, it was true.

And, do you know what, I really couldn't care less if anyone on this whole board believes that or not. I've spent untold hours typing messages defending someone who not only needs no defense, but doesn't ask for it, either. I must be crazy. Frankly, I personally would be happier if Dan didn't sell his picks and people couldn't make money off his knowledge. It wouldn't matter to me either way, and think of the reduction in aggravation I'd have.

And, once again, you didn't address the issue of how you'd be handling all of this if Dan were working for YOU this season!
