Is this a legitimate way to predict occurrances of events, though?

I realize medians and averages are not the same, and a line is obviously set on a median performance. The problem with football is the number of games is so few that a median could be even more misleading than the average.

Basically for these I just related all the averages. Is this a legitimate method? Is there any place dedicated to coming up with predictions on props? I think I'm going to start "paper playing" props to see how I do as they obviously are going to be softer than game lines, and the limits on props aren't even close to my current BR so it's not like that is an issue. Does Oly tend to have the softest prop lines?
